How to evaluate the area per lipid in a transmembrane protein-lipid system? was created by Jinyoung
Hi everyone!
I had the equilibrated coarse-grained transmembrane protein-POPC bilayer system. However, although in the MARTINI lipid tutorial, the area per lipid can be calculated by dividing box XY / the number of lipids on each leaflet, I think that the area per lipid with such my system can not merely be calculated in this way.
How could I evaluate the area per lipid in such my system?
Any help will be highly appreciated! Thank you

Hi,
Check out: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24175728/
Haven't used the tool myself, but it could be useful.
