Hi all,
In the martini_v3.0.0_ions_v1.itp, for most of the ions, their actual masses are used as opposed to the standard mass for their respective particle types (ie TQ5 or SQ4) except the Na+ ion. Was this done for a specific reason such as to account for the low mobility of these ions in solution? I was wondering if it is recommended to use the actual mass for a cation/anion that is lighter than sodium.
Thank you,
Shalini
