Advice for ER membrane: Martini2 or Martini3 ? was created by ttubiana
Hi :)
I would like to generated a Endoplasmic reticulum like membrane that contains POPC, POPE, POPS, POPI, CER180 and CHOL.
For that I use CharmmGUI because I also add a transmembrane protein, but parameters are still missing for Martini3.
I saw that CHOL is still in dev, apparently no ceramide parameters yet and POPI are available thanks to MeloLab ( github.com/MeloLab/PhosphoinositideParam...s/tree/main/martini3 ) but not yet integrated in CharmmGUI.
The big question is : Is there a "good" way to generate a ER like membrane with Martini3 or is it still valid to use Martini2 for that ?
Thank you for your precious help :)
SIncerely,
